Bethel welcomes regular giving as part of faith development. Give as you are able. Change your giving as your ability changes. Bethel is fortunate that ministry work is supported and funded and that our ability to provide a home for early education of youth, youth camp scholarships, Christian education scholarships, while maintaining a welcoming, open and large space for gatherings, community and events.

LOMO Hope Wood Camperships
Youth faith development can happen in many places. One special place is summer Church camp. Youth, ages 5 - 18, can attend one of two Lutheran Ministry Camps with a generous partial scholarship from Bethel. Bethel youth attending camp can invite a friend who will also receive a campership from Bethel. Camperships can range from $200 - $400 toward the cost to attend a weekly residential camp. Bethel youth interested in attending should contact the Church office. Individuals who wish to support the Campership Fund may make a donation here:
Bethel Campers meet hundreds of other young people who show them that they belong to a larger body of Christ. They play, worship, sing, hike and explore their own faith life.
ELCA Youth Gathering
The ELCA Youth Gathering is coming back. Nearly, 35,000 high school aged Lutherans gather together for worship, service, music and incredible fellowship. Accompanied by adult members of the congregation and the Pastor, students travel to the gathering. Bethel works to reduce the cost to each family by providing financial assistance for travel, food and admission to the event. Donations made to the Youth Ministries Fund at Bethel are used to support many forms of youth faith development including the travel to this celebration of faith.
The energy at the ELCA YOUTH GATHERING is amazing. High school aged youth feel a connection to their larger Church, unite as the next generation of Lutherans, and make a positive impact on the city they visit through community improvement service projects.
